Privacy Policy

Last updated 4 November 2026

Nightshift is run by Isaac Griggs, a sole proprietor based in Chicago, Illinois. You can reach me at griggs1108@gmail.com about anything on this page, including asking me to delete something.

The short version. This website sets no cookies and shows no advertising. It counts page views without identifying anybody, and it loads its typefaces from Google. The only personal information Nightshift ever holds is what somebody deliberately types into the contact form, plus the business email addresses used for outreach. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe and are never seen or stored by Nightshift.

This website

The pages here are static files. There is no advertising pixel, no cookie banner because there are no cookies to consent to, and no account to create. Three third parties are involved in serving this page, and that is the whole list:

The contact form

The form on the front page collects your name, your email address, and whatever else you choose to put in it: your business, your phone number if you give it, the build you picked and anything you type in the last box. It goes to me so I can answer you. Form submissions are processed by Netlify Forms. It is used to reply to you and to do the work if you become a client, and for nothing else.

If you become a client

Building your site means holding the material you send: your prices, hours, services, photographs and logo. It is used to build and maintain your site and for nothing else.

If you take the chatbot add-on, two things can be recorded on your site, and only two:

The chatbot sets no cookies and is not loaded at all until a visitor clicks to open it.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers, bank details and similar information go straight to Stripe and are never entered into, seen by, or stored by Nightshift. Stripe provides the name, email address and billing details needed to run a subscription and issue receipts. Stripe's own privacy policy governs what they do with it.

Outreach email

Nightshift contacts businesses using an email address that business publishes on its own website, and the message includes a working sample built from that same public website. If you would rather not hear from Nightshift again, reply and say so and that is the end of it, with no follow up and no second attempt. Ask for the sample page to be taken down and it comes down the same day.

What Nightshift does not do

How long things are kept

Enquiries and logged questions are kept while a business is a client and for a short period after, so that a report can be finished and a final invoice settled. An enquiry that never becomes a job is kept for a year and then deleted. Business records that have to be kept for tax purposes are kept for as long as the law requires. Ask for your data to be deleted and it will be, other than anything a tax authority requires be kept.

Your choices

Email griggs1108@gmail.com and you can ask what is held about you, ask for a copy, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. There is no form to fill in and no account to log into. A plain email is enough.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Existing clients get told directly rather than being expected to notice.
