Nightshift is run by Isaac Griggs, a sole proprietor based in Chicago, Illinois. These terms cover the work Nightshift does for a business that becomes a client. Questions about any of it go to griggs1108@gmail.com.
Nightshift builds websites for small businesses. The base price covers the build, the writing, the layout and putting it live.
| Build | Price | Live within |
|---|---|---|
| One page | $499 | a week |
| Up to five pages | $899 | one to two weeks |
| Bigger than five pages, several sites, or a group of companies | priced per job | agreed in writing first |
Anything below goes on top of the base price, and only if you ask for it.
| Add-on | Price |
|---|---|
| Chatbot | +$300 |
| Booking calendar | +$349 |
| Instant quote calculator | +$250 |
| Photo to quote | +$400 |
| Auto text back | +$150 |
| Before and after slider | +$120 |
| Reviews and QR | +$120 |
Two things change the total. Rush, meaning live inside 24 hours, adds 50% to the whole build rather than a flat fee. The monthly is $49, plus $15 for every add-on you take, so a site with a chatbot and a booking calendar is $79 a month.
A worked example, so there is nothing to argue about later: five pages with a chatbot and a booking calendar, rushed, is ($899 + $300 + $349) x 1.5, which is $2,322 to build, then $79 a month.
The delivery time above starts when you have sent the material the build needs, not when you pay. That material is what you want to say, your prices, your hours, your service area, and your photographs and logo if you have them. This is deliberate: a site that guesses at your prices or your policies is worse than no site, and guessing is exactly what you are paying to avoid.
Every build includes one round of changes after you first see it. More than that is fine and is quoted before any further work starts, never billed as a surprise.
The build price and the first month are charged together on the first invoice. The monthly is charged every month after that. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Cancel anytime, no contract. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee. Cancelling stops the next payment. The month you have already paid for runs to the end of its billing period and the site stays up until then.
The build price covers work that is finished once the site is delivered, so it is not refundable after that point. If something is wrong with what was delivered, tell me and I will fix it.
The monthly is not a licence fee for your own website. It covers hosting, the SSL certificate, and the edits that keep the site true: your prices, your hours, your services and your photographs as they change. A site nobody updates is wrong in front of your customers within a season, which is the problem it was built to solve.
If you stop the monthly, the site stops being hosted and maintained by me. The site itself is yours. Ask and you get the files, and you are free to host them anywhere or have anyone else work on them.
The chatbot answers from the information you give me and from your own site. When it does not know something it says so and hands the person to you, rather than inventing an answer. That is the core design and it is not an accident.
It is a tool for answering questions and capturing enquiries. It is not a person, it does not replace professional advice in any regulated field, and it should not be relied on for anything safety critical or as the only way an emergency reaches you. Where a business runs genuine emergency work, it is set up to push people to a phone number instead of trying to handle it.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you give me, for holding the rights to the logos, text and photographs you send, and for checking that what the finished site says about your prices, hours and policies matches what you actually offer.
Your business information stays yours, and so does the finished site. The underlying tooling, templates and code that Nightshift uses to build sites stay mine, and I reuse them on other jobs. I may show your site as an example of my work unless you ask me not to, which you can do at any time and I will take it down.
Your site is a set of static files served by a commercial web host, which is a deliberately simple design chosen because it keeps working without anything of mine being switched on. Even so, no service is guaranteed to be available every second, and outages at a hosting provider, a domain registrar or a third party service connected to your site are outside my control.
Nightshift's total liability for any claim connected to this service is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nightshift is not liable for lost profits, lost business or other indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.
You can cancel at any time, as above. I can end the service with 30 days notice, or immediately if it is used for anything unlawful, or to mislead people, or in a way that would put me or the hosting providers in breach of their own rules. If I end it without cause, you get back the unused part of the month and the files for your site.
If these terms change, the date at the top changes and existing clients are told directly rather than expected to notice. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
